The Capinera farm is located in the hills of the province of Macerata, between the Sibillini mountains and the Adriatic Sea, in the locality of Crocette-Cunicchio, in the municipality of Morrovalle.
Since the mid-nineties we have been engaged in the production of superior quality DOC and IGT wines. Thanks to constant investments in the care of the vineyard, in the equipment of the cellar and the cellar, thanks to the skills and attention of our expert winemaker, to the production processes that allow us to best preserve the characteristics of the fruit, to the passion that each of us loves dedicate to what is beautiful that has been handed down to us by our fathers, we are honored to offer you a selection of excellent products.
The soil is calcareous-clay in nature, slightly sloping and facing south towards the Chienti river, at an altitude of about two hundred meters above sea level.
To obtain the high quality level in the vineyard, the bunches are thinned out to have a maximum production of 50 – 60 quintals per hectare. The harvest is done by hand in small boxes, with careful and meticulous selection of the bunches. Fermentation and vinification take place in steel tanks, while maturation and refinement in small French oak barriques.
On our land we have recently installed a photovoltaic system for the production of clean energy.
We have undertaken this activity to help make our policy of excellence sustainable – even economically – allowing us to continue dedicating our resources and our commitment to the pursuit of quality for a long time to come – without compromise, with all the serenity this deserves.
All processes are targeted for a high quality production, historical characteristic of the Capinera Company.
