We are jealous guardians of the environment and biodiversity, faithful to tradition but with an eye to innovation

I Pucci is a small farm in the center of Calabria where two seas, the Tyrrhenian and the Ionian, are just a few kilometers away as the crow flies. Our company is less than two thousand meters from the Ionian Sea. There are about ten hectares all dedicated to the cultivation of organic products.

The use of natural cultivation systems, without the use of aggressive chemical products, on the other hand, has been the company's traditional working method for several decades. Systems used well before the rules of organic cultivation were established, rules that the company has in any case immediately made its own.

All our products are made with ancient and traditional methods which are a guarantee of quality and flavours. A limited but quality production that encourages our customers to stock up and book new quantities before stocks run out. The energy is produced by a modern photovoltaic system and used on site (the so-called "local exchange").

The climate is typically Mediterranean, temperate and rather windy, especially in the spring and autumn months. Even in winter the climate is quite mild because we are sheltered from the cold winds and, in summer, the cool breeze from the sea mitigates the high daytime temperatures in the months of June, July, August and sometimes even September, with good temperature ranges between day and night.

An oasis of green with numerous cultivated species

Roses, peonies, geraniums, lavender, camellias, jasmine, agapanthus, daisies, rosemary, laurel, papyrus are cultivated with love in our company; a wall of magnolias, also obolate and then cikas, palms, cypresses, cedars of Lebanon, firs and centuries-old oaks create a unique natural context, protecting the numerous citrus trees from the wind (different varieties of lemons, oranges, tangerines, cedars, lemons bergamot, grapefruit and mapi) and the mostly centenary olive trees.

Among the lemon plants, in particular the lemons of the Verna cultivar, they are covered by a particular very thick white net, which, while allowing the passage of the sun's rays, protects the plants from heavy rains, bad weather and insects.

The orange blossom flowers of the many citrus trees offer an excellent nectar to the bees which produce one of the most appreciated orange blossom honeys by connoisseurs and a eucalyptus honey, particularly sought after for its therapeutic properties for the respiratory tract.

From the olive trees of the "Carolea" cultivar, brought to this area of Calabria by the ancient Greeks, we obtain an excellent yellow extra virgin oil with green reflections, medium fruity, with hints of apple, almond, artichoke and nuances of bitter, spicy and herbaceous, low acidity.
In the fruit and vegetable sector, the company places numerous varieties of green beans, borlotti beans, courgettes and artichokes on the local market.
